Q: What are the fees and what do they include?

A: A one-time licensing fee of $495 and $5 a month per current ad on your website. -The licensing fee is due when you sign the Campus Town Discounts licensing agreement. The $5 a month per ad will be billed by draft or credit card once per month. You are billed the $5 based on the total number of current ads on your site the 10th of each month.

Q: Will I be an employee of Campus Town Discounts?

A: No, you will be an independent licensee, doing business as Campus Town Discounts. You may not maintain an account under the name Campus Town Discounts. Therefore, you may bill your clients under your own name or a different business name that you file in your area- college discounts of Indiana, for example.

Q: Will I be entitled to deduct expenses from my earnings?

A: Yes. Please see your tax advisor to discuss what applicable business expenses may be deducted.

Q: Can I add another person to my business?

A: Yes, you may hire office staff, sales staff or whatever positions you desire. However, they are your employees or contract workers and not ours. In fact, we recommend that you get help with sales and pay sales staff a commission. This can expedite your growth. We will offer additional advice and assistance with this once you license an area.

Q: Can I do this out of my home?

A: Absolutely! Home based businesses are widely accepted in today's environment and keeps your expenses down.

Q: Are there any territory restrictions placed on me?

A: Yes. Your license agreement will be specific to a specific campus or a specific geographical area. You can protect a larger area, but this comes with a larger initial licensing fee (determined by population/enrollment). Smaller towns may only require a single license, depending upon campus size and area population.

Q: Can I add another campus or area later?

A: Yes, as long as the area/campus is still available. You may also provide us a list of first refusal options. This is a list of campuses that you would like rights to in the event that we have an offer. Once we receive the offer we would inform you and give you 10-days to days to either purchase or decline to purchase the campus in question.

Q: Do you provide marketing materials?

A: Yes, your initial welcome packet will include some marketing materials and you may purchase more through us or have our materials printed locally. You may not create your own materials without the written permission of Campus Town Discounts.

Q: What kind of office equipment do I need?

A: You'll need a computer, internet service, and cell phone. It may also be helpful to have a scanner and/or fax machine.

Q: How soon can I begin to sell and make money?

A: You will be able to sell ads as soon as you receive your welcome packet and have a working knowledge of the Campus Town Discount system (learned through online training).

Q: Are there other ways to making money with Campus Town Discounts?

A: Yes, you may make money on referrals for other licensees, national ad accounts, email and texting programs and there will be new revenue streams as you grow.

Q: How do I get paid?

A: We recommend that you either bill quarterly ($90 to $180), have customers on a monthly draft or credit card system, or bill your customers annually (with a discount of your choice- we recommend 1-2 months free with annual pay. It is nice to have a mix of all 3 in the beginning for cash flow purposes, but in the long run the monthly drafts are best as the customers are less likely to cancel and your build a nice monthly residual income.

Q: Do I have a sales Quota?

A: Yes, you do have to meet minimum requirements in order to maintain your license in the area. Otherwise, we have the right to resell the campus area. However, we will help you get your numbers. It is simply a matter of you making enough contacts each week.

The minimums are as follows:

* 20 ads after 3-months

* 35 ads after 6-months

* 50 ads after 1 -year
